Supervision

Starting out as a therapist can be tough.

The challenges of the job market, lack of professional support, and a drop-off in training can be daunting. The personal and emotional difficulties of working in the helping profession tack on additional burdens. On top of all that, the supervision that’s required to move forward towards licensure and a better career can be expensive, especially on an entry-level salary.

Travelers Rest Counseling wants to help!

Calvin Armerding, LPC is a supervisor candidate in South Carolina, and is actively seeking motivated LPC-Associates for supervision. Beyond helping you avoid ethical or legal difficulties, Calvin loves to help supervisees develop personally and professionally. Attention will be given to:

  • Personal dynamics that affect and are affected by your work with clients

  • Your approach to mental health treatment; at the end of supervision, you’ll be able to answer for yourself “Why do people do what they do, and how do they change?”

  • Self-care and your personal well-being

  • Developing a love of learning and a willingness to develop throughout your career

  • Demonstration/modeling of tactics when needed

Supervision is provided at a RIDICULOUSLY low price! We at Travelers Rest Counseling Associates want to see young/new clinicians in our area receive all the help they need without undue financial burdens.
